The proper way to eat a corndog

Caden will now demonstrate the proper way to eat a corndog.

Any questions?

Cole is my smiley happy baby, but I can't get any pictures of him smiling. The flash on the camera makes him startled and then he just stares at me with a funny look on his face. This is the best picture I could get of him "smiling". Trust me though, it's much cuter in real life.
On a random note, I was at aerobics yesterday and after the workout she went through a relaxation thing with us. Now, I don't know what's wrong with me, but I've never enjoyed these. I'm sure you've all done them. They differ in words but basically you imagine yourself either all filled up with sand, or all tensed up until the sun hits you or you release the sand or something random like that. Anyway...everyone after was like "oh, that was wonderful" and so on and so forth. It just doesn't work for me. What am I doing wrong? It is true that I have a hard time relaxing. Dan tries to massage my shoulders and that makes me tense even more. He keeps telling me to "relax", but I can't. I like to have control over my body...even though I suppose being able to let me body relax would be a form of control. Anyway, I'm sure you all cared to know that, but really...if I want to relax I curl up with a good book or just take a nap. To each his own I suppose.

That is the cutest picture of Cole!

Now the real question is, does Caden actually eat the dog part of the corndog, or just the "corn"? That's what Joey would do.
Does Cole have brown eyes, or are they really dark blue? Very cute picture.
And the relaxation things...eh. Nowadays I like them. Although they're very hard to do because every time I try to lie down on the floor, I instantly become a human jungle gym.

I was just thinking how Cole doesn't really look like the other kids. Guess it's a little early to tell, but it's a cute picture.

I think if you can relax with a good book, do that. Who needs laying on a hard floor anyway?

So glad you updated! I loved the demonstration on the corndog. I never knew. Really, I think he is just avoiding the stick. Cole is really changing and developing his own look. About the relaxation, I know what you mean. Only after day after day of yoga for months, I am just barely really getting into the total relaxation thing.

I can see Kember in Cole - not that they are identical or anything like that, but there is something. . . thanks for the smile.

I'll have to try eating a corndog like that - or maybe that is how I already do it. I forget.

As for relaxing, I just need to sit down. Forget the hard floors.

Trestin either eats it that way too, or removes the corn and just eats the dog. Is it a boy thing? Or just a 2 year old thing? Happy Birthday yesterday to Caden by the way! Trestin was sooo excited for his birthday today, and the Elmo that I drew on his cake! We would sing, "Happy Birthday to..." and then he'd add, "Tetin!" Such a cute age! Once I get the boxes unpacked and before you move, I need to have you over! I bet Caden and Trestin would have a blast! It's date! But with a day to be announced after I unpack the toy room! I'll let ya know!

I can't believe how old Cole looks.
And Connor has his own way of eating a corn dog too... He just takes the corn part off and just eats the hot dog. I think it might be the age.

Funny that you can't "sink" into the relaxing stuff. That's my favorite part of the yoga that I do. But see, I'm still trying to "sink" into a good book...which is not a problem for you. Must come down to preference.
